Asian Kung-Fu Generation is a Japanese indie rock band formed in 1996.

The band consists of four members: Masafumi Gotoh as the lead vocalist and guitarist, Kensuke Kita as the guitarist and backing vocalist, Takahiro Yamada as the bassist and backing vocalist, and Kiyoshi Ijichi as the drummer.
Since their debut in 2000 with the album “Kimi Tsunagi Five M”, Asian Kung-Fu Generation has released several successful albums and popular singles in Japan. Some of their notable works include “Haruka Kanata”, which served as the theme song for the anime Naruto, “Rewrite”, the theme song for the anime Fullmetal Alchemist, and “Re:Re:”, the theme song for the anime Erased.
